I began quilting 10 years ago after many years of knitting, spinning, and needlework. I started by using scraps of fabric handed down or acquired from old clothing. I continue to evolve through patterned quilting and improvisational piecing and am currently studying with nationally acclaimed artist, Nancy Crow.
A lot of my pieces are machine quilted by Patrick Whalen, a very talented long-arm quilter. Some are machine quilted by me and also a hand-quilted piece , TILE PLAY, was done by me.
