Join us this Saturday, March 28 at 3:00pm for a special free screening of Kobanê (2022), presented in partnership with Cafe Gulistan as part of their Newroz celebration, the Kurdish New Year.

Kobanê tells the inspiring true story of Zehra, a Kurdish woman who steps up to lead during a critical moment in 2014. Set during a months-long siege in northern Syria, the film is a story of courage, resilience, and the power of people coming together to protect their home and one another.
