I began quilting 12 years ago after many years of knitting, spinning, and needlework. I started by using scraps of fabric handed down or acquired from old clothing. I continue to evolve through complex pattern piecing and improvisational piecing, using 100% cotton hand-dyes or commercially dyed fabrics, exploring color in as many ways as I can.
